Yes, the rumor is true; Megaworld Corporation is bringing Eastwood City in Cebu. You are maybe wondering on how they will bring the 17-hectare place in Cebu, well Megaworld Corporation is currently building a new Eastwood like community in the island of Mactan Cebu called “The Mactan NewTown”.
The place has an area of about 16 hectares that will rise soon as Megaworlds New Township in Cebu. Like any other Megaworld community it has residential, office, retail and leisure place but wait since you are in Cebu where beautiful beaches are to be found the new township will also have its resort.

The 8 Newtown Boulevard will have a Japanese theme so expect Japanese Koi gardens and Japanese theme condominium rooms. Here are photos of the showroom for the condominium rooms.
If I have to choose a place to live 5 years from now then I would love to stay at The Mactan Newtown because aside from being a fan of Japanese ambiance places, I also like its accessibility to everything. I just wish they have a strict security and own hospital.
