Early Life

Tony’s mother a laundrywoman died when he was still little. At an early age he used to work at a wooden sandals (bakya) manufacturing at Paete Laguna to earn and help his siblings and sickly father. Wood carving is out of Tony’s skill so he ended up as a garbage collector for the company. At the age of 16 he look for a brighter future, he rode for a train which he aims will bring him to Manila but he ended up at Lucena. Destiny brings Tony to Bicol and there he started his fortune. He worked as a laborer at Hacienda Sta. Rita that was owned by the Marasigan.
