Cebu is known to be one of the islands of the Philippines that has amazing beaches, thus it should be included in your things to do in Cebu to visit a beach. Since it is that time of the year where visiting the beach is a necessity rather than a luxury, then we have compiled a list of the top most beautiful must visit beaches in Cebu.

Best Beaches to Visit in Cebu

Best Beaches Recommendation from your favorite Cebu Travel Bloggers

Pebbles Beach

Location: Liloan, Santander, Cebu
How to get there: From Cebu City ride a bust going to Liloan Port. Pebbles is walking distance south 50 meters down the street to your right.

Pebbles Beach Resort - Santander

For me, Pebbles Beach Resort is one of the most underrated beach resorts in South Cebu. If you want to know what you can see at the southernmost tip of Cebu, I highly recommend Pebbles Beach Resort. As the name implies, this beach resort is full of white pebbles which makes it unique. It has been my go-to place whenever I want to be alone. You can just lazily lie on the beach, look at the view of the Negros Island, and enjoy the sunset!

Lambug Beach

Location: Lambug Beach, Badian
How to get there: From Cebu South Bus Terminal, take a bus bound for Bato-Barili. Fare is P130. Travel time is between 3 to 4 hours. Ask the driver to drop you off Badian Public Market, then take a tricycle to the beach. Fare is about P30 per person, and the trip may take 15 to 20 minutes.

Lambug Beach Badian

Lambug Beach is one of the must-see public beaches of Cebu. Hidden in the calm shores of Badian, this beach boasts of pristine waters and a sparkling creamy sand. It’s a short trip by tricycle or habal-habal from the highway and is best for travelers who need a quiet, relaxing getaway after a heart-pumping canyoneering adventure that ends at the grand Kawasan Falls or a spellbinding sardine run at Moalboal’s dive sites. Lambug Beach can’t be missed. It’s in the middle of everything that will make your trip to this part of the island one for the books.

Bitoon Beach

Location: Kinatarcan, Guintacan Island
How to get there: From North Bus Terminal ride a bus going to Daan Bantayan then proceed to Daanbantayan wharf. Ride a boat going to barangay Bitoon.

Bitoon Beach Kinatarcan, Guintacan Island

Long strips of white sand are scattered on both eastern and western sides of Bitoon (also known as Kinatarcan). Immaculately blessed with gorgeous creamy white sand that can rival those of famed Boracay, it will surely serve as a playground for beach enthusiasts. No wonder, Bitoon beach is said to be the go-to destination for visitors who are planning to stay overnight on the island by tent, hammock or cottage by the coastline. Plus, you can feast your eyes on various shades of fluorescent, arctic and ultramarine blue waters that seem to go on endlessly. And with that relaxing view, Bitoon beach is definitely perfect for a “Hakuna Matata” moment.

Best Beaches in Cebu Recommendation by Geemiz

Camotes Island

Camotes Island in the north of Cebu is branded to have among the best beaches in the province. May it be a long stretch of white sand beach or a unique coral rock formation perfect for cliff jumping. You may visit this List of Beautiful Beaches in Camotes Island to check all the must-visit beaches.

Camotes Island Bakhaw BeachWhat I love about the beaches in Camotes is the options on what beach to go to. Adrenaline junkies would love to try jumping off the 8ft or the 14ft tall cliff. Families with kids would prefer Santiago White Beach because of its shallow water and wide stretch of white sand. To those who would love to immediately swim without walking so far Bakhaw Beach and Tulang Diot Island are reachable.

Bantayan Island

Hidden in the northernmost part of Cebu, Bantayan Island is a no-brainer when it comes to stunning beaches to go to in Cebu. The sugary white sand that glitters in the sunshine above it is just a view to behold and there is the sparkly blue sea which is hard to reject even for non-swimmers.

Bantayan Island Beaches

What I love about Bantayan Island is that aside from the beach it is also rich in history, but we are talking about the beach here so would I say more of how remarkable the beaches of Bantayan. Its magnificence can be at par or more of those highly visited beaches in the country but less costly. Bantayan Island is your perfect dose of beach getaway in this part of the country.

Mangodlong Paradise Resort Beach

Looks like a lot of beaches there 🙂 I normally stay on at a beach after some hard challenging trip, hiking etc. May drop to some of those one day.

Philippines being a tropical island is indeed blessed with so many amazing beaches.

These beaches all look amazing. Generally speaking for us the best beach is the one that is the furthest away which typically means more secluded and private. Cebu definitely looks like a beach paradise.

The farthest is always the best really. hehehe
