In addition to living life to the fullest, I went to another backpacking trip with babe and friends. This time we visited the beautiful South East Asia countries of Malaysia, Myanmar and Singapore. What I love about this trip is I get to see a first world country – Singapore, second world country – Malaysia, and third world country – Myanmar.

Hi Geezelle,

My husband and I are planning to go to Myanmar summer of next year. I would just like to know how many hours is KL malaysia to Yangon? and also how’s the immigration when you arrived in Myanmar? Do we need to get an e-visa in advance or is it no longer necessary?

Your help is very much appreciated. 🙂

Thanks,
Ash

Hi Ash

KL to Yangon is 2 hours and 35 minutes.
For the Visa, may I ask your nationality?
I am a Filipino and Visa is not needed on our end.

15K? Whoa, that is really affordable. Will bookmark this blog post; we will use this as reference for a planned SEA trip. 🙂

Hi Gian and Shei
You guys bookmarking my article gives me goosebumps.
Congratulations again for winning the best Cebu Blogs Awards 2016. 🙂

My boyfriend is in the PI for a family trip and loved Cebu! I just bookmarked this page as I am planning an Asia trip later this year and now am considering Myanmar after reading your tips. All the places look amazing! So fun.

Myanmar is such a lovely place.
It is unique and not yet touch that much with western civilization.

Like your jump for joy! I was in Malaysia but I see I spent way too much. Myanmar is still on my list. Looks even more beautifull.

I will be visiting Malaysia some other time with mom and sister and this time for a longer period.
Myanmar is an amazing place.

Very useful tips. Who would have thought they would only take new USD?

They do. They are very strict in terms of money so better ready with that crisp dollars.

That was one packed itinerary! Looks amazing though. This is such a helpful post, really useful for anyone travelling to the same areas.

Thank you. I hope other travelers will find this post useful too.

Very detailed and insightful post! Haven’t hit that part of the world yet, but I will sure come back to check this out for when I do 🙂

Hi Joy. Southeast Asia is a very amazing place to travel and cost effective as well.

Wow! Thanks for the very detailed info. I’m bookmarking this for that day — coming soon — when I finally make it to Myanmar!

Have a good one in Singapore Victoria and don’t forget to share your experience with us.
