Another long weekend, a good friend visiting and it’s summer, so what better things to do than going to the beach! I am lucky to live in such a beautiful province and experiencing most of its beauty makes me more than blessed. Bohol is one of the must visit places for first-time travelers in the Philippines and let me share to you one of the reasons why it is a must to visit Bohol.

Babe and I are not your conventional traveler.  We do not stay in one place when we travel especially if we are wandering around the Philippines in which most islands are just 1 or 2 boat hours away from one another. The beauty when you travel in Northern Luzon is that you can just ride a bus anywhere you wanted to go. People who visit Ilocos always end up visiting the Mountain Province, Ifugao Province, and of course Benguet.

There are so many things to do in Myanmar and on top of the list is visiting the various Hindu temples and structures in the country which vary from city to city. You can go to Bagan for old brick massive temples, Mandalay for white stupas, and Yangon for the highly acclaimed ones.

If you are a Filipino, for sure you are familiar with the rice terraces that are built by our ancestors. The rice terraces is one of the greatest old age engineering structure by our forefathers. As a child it is my dream to visit the Banaue Rice Terraces or in Filipino the Hagdan-hagdang Palayan and I cannot control my happiness when I first set my eyes on the ifugao rice terraces and that is the start for my love of rice terraces.
