The UP MassComm is inviting amateur film makers in Cebu to submit their entry for the 4th UPelikula.

What is UPelikula?

It is a local film festival organized by the UP Cebu Mass Communication Students. The event aims to recognize aspiring and young skillful film makers. The best part is this is open to all enrolled students in the various colleges and univirsities in the Queen City of the South.

UPelikula 2015 – Lantawa, Paminawa, Pamati-a

This year’s theme is just perfect, for films are meant to be seen, heared and felt. This is an inspiration on giving chances to the oppressed, marginalized, and underprevileged.

The 4th UPelikula was launched last February 9, 2015. School caravans will be held in selected schools in Cebu City so keep updated by following UPelikula official Facebook Page. The caravan will not just showcase the entries qualified for the final round but as well to educate and expose students to the independent filmmaking industry.
