About Metroland

Metroland used to be a private resort but just recently opened to the public by the owners. It is the only resort in Maravilla Beach that has a swimming pool. It is located on the farthest right side facing the sea.

Metroland Room and Rates

• 4 Air-conditioned regular rooms – 3,000 php good for 4 (ground floor)
• 1 Air-conditioned family room – 3,500.00 php good for 5 (second floor)
• Extra person – 200.00 php with bed, mattress, pillow, and blanket.
• All rooms have a private bathroom with cr.
• All rooms have an electric outlet.

Metroland Amenities

• Swimming pool in front of the resort.
• Beach area uses the Maravilla Beach resort.

• Billard room – free to use
• Videoke room – 150.00 php per hour

• Kitchen – you can use if you opt to cook. Pay 500.00 php for the gas. You can also ask the caretaker to cook for you but please give a decent tip.

What I love about Metroland

We have not stayed in Metroland during our Tabuelan visit, and everything in here is based on our quick (15 minutes) visit to the place. Metroland is situated farther from the heart of the public beach thus lesser people in the area even at peak day and hour.

It is adjacent to other resorts that offer Air-conditioned rooms with private bath and cr. The wooden floor and benches make the place looks rustic but perfect for the blue sky. It has well maintained mini garden too. Inside the rooms are newly painted walls and 2 bunk beds. The caretakers where kind and accommodating. They allow us to view the rooms and roam around the place. If given a chance to visit Tabuelan, we will stay at Metroland.

The second time we visited Metroland the caretaker Juanilla was not around. Her husband, son, and daughter-in-law were there. We waited for more than 15 minutes but they are passive for us to get a room so we decided to leave because we are already hungry but I was able to get their contact information.
