I am back scribbling my experiences last December 18 and 19 2010. I have already told you how I feel at the airplane and my stroll at Rizal Park. So now let’s continue.

The second stop of me and hubby’s weekend adventure is one of the famous places for family bonding the Ocean Park Manila. Ocean Park is just a walk away from Rizal Park so it is accessible to go to the place. Walking to the largest aquarium in the Philippines we get to passed by another historic place in the country, the Quirino Grandstand. Aside from being the place where those poor Hong Kong nationals have been hostage few months ago this is the place where the current President Noynoy Aquino has vowed to the Filipino Citizens to serve well the country. The Place is very wide and there are families having picnic in the near ground and several people where flying kites. There were visible tall buildings when you stand at the Quirino Grandstand and it includes the Manila Hotel. From Quirino Grandstand, Ocean Park is just a few steps away.

I get a chance to take a pose at the entrance of the oceanarium and since my feet starts to ache we decided to take a few second rests at the seats available. Hubby bought the tickets which costs 500 pesos for each of us so that we can start watching the fishes. I get really excited as we get inside because the temperature is lower than outside and the first fish I saw is a big one which can be found in the amazon. Sadly I forgot what’s the name of the fish because of excitement to jump from one aquarium to the next, all I know is that it is about 3 meters long.

I did enjoy watching the fishes with various sizes, colors and unique features like glow in the dark fishes and worm like fishes. I also did saw some starfish and crocodiles and shells. What I enjoyed the most is the biggest aquarium where in even if you look up you can still see fishes and stingrays. I feel hungry looking at the fat fishes and wished that I could cook them but I would love to see them in the aquarium instead on the frying pan. The fish watching went on until we reached the largest fish I have ever seen in my entire life. They were just still as if they were rocks and even their scales looks like a rock to me. Because the park did not allow flashes for cameras I do not have that much photos. If only we had more time I would love to try the fish massage and would love to watch the different shows especially the dancing fountain. I would really love to go back and visit Ocean Park with much time some other day.

This is it for today because I had something to do. For the third part I will be telling my experience on the different animals I saw at the Manila Zoo and how I conquer my fierce with heights at Enchanted Kingdom.
